The Challenge

Division Is Easier Than Conversation

In a country stretched thin by division, students arrive already sorted: religious and secular, new immigrant and native-born, left and right. Nothing in a normal timetable puts those groups in the same room, and a campus can pass an entire year without them ever meeting.

The Midrasha for Unity Fund pays for the hours that do.

What We Do

One Table, Many Voices

Values-driven social programming built on one thing: dialogue that connects rather than divides. Its purpose is to keep Jewish identity alive among students, and to keep those students together while it does.

Weekly

Beit Midrash for Everyone

Text study in mixed chevrutot, where a kibbutznik and a yeshiva graduate read the same page and hear each other.

Monthly

Guest Lectures

Writers, rabbis, officers and public figures from across the spectrum, modeling disagreement without contempt.

Semester

Dialogue Workshops

Facilitated group sessions where students practice the hardest conversations Israeli society avoids.

Annual

Unity Leadership Track

A year-long program training students to run bridging initiatives in their own communities.

Shared Calendar Events

Campus-wide gatherings around the Jewish and Israeli calendar. Belonging that includes everyone.
